Medals and medallions can be produced in a variety of metals from base metals such as copper or  bronze to precious metals such as gold or silver with a range of different finishes.
Medals and medallions are used as awards for achievement, to commemorate events and as corporate gifts.
Tokens
Tokens differ from medals and medallions in that they are minted in high volumes and often used as low cost souvenirs.
Tokens are minted for commemorative occasions or as a redeemable trading exchange for promotional purposes. They can meet technical requirements for use in vending machines.
Plaques
Plaques are often permanently mounted on site to commemorate the launch of an occasion or opening of a building. They are also used as awards, recognition of achievement, commemorative occasions, service and retirement and corporate gifts.
Plaques are usually created in a bronze although they can be produced in most metals with a range of different finishes to enhance their appearance.
